Kayaking White Water
Nelson Downriver Race 
(Lower Tye River) 
Saturday, May 11
Check in 9am-10:45am
Race Start: 11am 
Awards: Approximately 1:30pm 
All participants must have transportation available at the finish location.  Please check in at the start location prior to going to the finish location to drop off vehicle.
**A shuttle will be available to bring racers back to the start location prior to the race.  Shuttle will depart finish location promptly at 10:30am**

This 8 mile race is suitable for experienced canoe and kayak paddlers (up to Class II/III- white water). 

Start Location:  S. Powells Island Rd (Rt. 662) - 2 miles east from Tye River Rd.
Finish Location: Cedar Creek Rd - 0.2 mile west of Ruckers Run bridge

Register by May 10
Register by April 26 to receive a FREE event t-shirt.

PRE-REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CUT OFF.  WE WILL ACCEPT REGISTRATIONS ON SITE AT CHECK-IN PRIOR TO THE RACE.
WE WILL ACCEPT CASH OR CHECK ON SITE.
